Appreciation of the equal role of women and men
Equality between men and women is accepted as a fundamental principle of human rights since the adoption of the United Nations in 1945. Many international agreements as the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (1979), stressed the World Conference on Human Rights (1993) and the Millennium Development Goals (2000) on the need for countries to take action against discrimination practical procedures.
Greater attention to women as the International Women’s Year (1975) has led to many improvements in the lives of women.There some approaches to inequality. Women’s “in Development (WID) focused on women. This helps the knowledge and skills to overcome social disadvantages of women, economic and policy to increase but may increase the workload of women and not the recognition of the role of man as an essential element of change. “Gender and Development” (GED) integrates all aspects of family planning in development programs.
